In a first-of-its-kind effort, King County hospitals reached out to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning (LGBTQ) youth and young adults to learn about their experiences with healthcare. More than 1 in 10 King County youth identifies as lesbian, gay, or bisexual.
